Supt Boyle receiving the check from Wal-Mart

Mr. Bob Hewitt, Mr. Doug Nausid, Ms. Natasha O’Brien and Ms. Jennifer McCarthy recently co-wrote a grant request that Wal-Mart has funded for $3000.
As a result of Wal-Mart’s generously funding this program, students will have access to a breakfast and homework club 5 days a week, during the school calendar. Beginning at 7:00 am a breakfast will be served and certified staff will be available to assist students with homework. Mr. Nausid and staff will oversee breakfast and healthy recreation activities for students. Healthy breakfast options will include: cereal, milk, juice, waffles etc. Some recreational activities will also be available for student.

We believe that this program will benefit students in several ways. First, students have a healthy breakfast, second the opportunity to receive homework assistance from certified staff and third the opportunity to engage in recreational activities in a safe and healthy environment.
